Carol Ruiz Gandia

Friday the 8th of December 2017 the Spanish pianist Carol Ruiz Gandia (born in Barcelona) performed in the DAKB-huis at the occasion of the Chess-Chopin project 2017. She left a great imression with her beautiful nocturnes by Chopin, Manuel de Falla and Jurriaan Andriessen. A short time later the idea was born to give a concert with flutist Kees Buskes in interpreting, among others, the Frühlingssonate by Beethoven and the Arpeggione by Schubert. It's already ten years ago that Dini Adams, the wife from Kees, passed away. One of the last beautiful pictures from that good time is the one of a laufhing Dini in a well-known restaurant in Barcelona!
